This is the smaller 5-tray version of the flagship 3900 dehydrator model from Excalibur®. It has a TEN-year warranty and a Heavy Duty Motor and Heating Element. The 3500 has 8 square feet of drying area and The Parallexx System™ ... horizontal airflow for maximum drying efficiency all for pennies a day to run. The fan-forced, horizontal drying system mounted in the rear provides more complete and even drying. Adjustable thermostat (85 degress - 155 degress) allows a range of temperatures for drying a variety of foods, from herbs, to fruit, or to making your favorite dehydrated dishes. Polycrbonate trays are highly durable. Removable trays and door for easier clean-up. Comes with white door and black trays.
